Individual members include Collaborative lawyers, mental health practitioners, financial specialists, and other professionals. The Collaborative Process is being used in divorce, domestic partnerships, same gender marriages, employment law, probate law, construction and real property disputes, malpractice, and other civil areas.

CP Cal’s mission is to unify, strengthen and support the Collaborative Practice community and to increase public awareness of the Collaborative Process throughout California.

“Collaborative Practice represents a significant shift in our approach toward resolving not only family matters, but can address virtually any civil dispute. The litigation model doesn’t have to be the first choice. My goal during my term as a CP Cal board member is to encourage more of our member professionals and also civil law attorneys to consider the ways Collaborative Practice can resolve disputes without the consumption of time and the cost of litigation,” said Rosner.

Rosner joins Family Divorce Solutions member Kevin Chroman on the current CP Cal board.

Rosner has been a civil lawyer with broad based experience in civil, business and family law for 36 years. He assists his clients in understanding their legal rights and strives to maintain good communication with all sides of the dispute to facilitate a resolution in the Collaborative Process. In divorce and other family matters, Rosner believes focusing on the needs and well being of the children are an important component to the long-term success of the divorce resolution process.
