Cynthia Todd 

Cynthia Todd is a collaborative attorney, mediator, and family law attorney, who has practiced family law since 2001. Cynthia focuses her practice on peaceful, client-driven resolutions through mediation and/or collaborative methods. Cynthia shifted her practice away from litigation after experiencing increased frustration with the high toll of litigation on her clients. Cynthia is dedicated to helping each client reach an out-of-court resolution that is the best possible outcome for the family as a whole. She diligently, calmly, and effectively assists her clients through the process from start to finish.

Education:

Cynthia received her J.D., cum laude, from Loyola Law School in 1998, where she was a notes editor of the Loyola Law Review and named Order of the Coif.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California Los Angeles in 1994, where she majored in Psychology, receiving departmental honors. Cynthia has also completed more than 100 hours of mediation and collaborative divorce training.

Cynthia is a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, Ventura County Bar Association, Experienced Family Law Panel Member of LRIS, Family Divorce Solutions of San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.

Cynthia serves as a volunteer Daily Settlement Officer for the Los Angeles County Bar Family Section and is a volunteer mediator with the Ventura County Superior Court. She is also a member of the Pro Bono Attorney Panel at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law.
